Student Ambassador and Teen Advisory Board Programs
Student Ambassador Program: Each year, the Fair asks Elementary and Middle schools in Broward to designate a Student Ambassador and Adult Liaison to the Fair. These parties will be responsible to help spread the word about the Fair, including educational departments, contests and entertainment, to others at their school. Student Ambassadors will also receive invitations to special Fair Functions. For more information, please call the Fair Office (954)922-2224 or e-mail BCFvolunteer@aol.com.
Teen Advisory Board: This special group was established three years ago, to allow local teens some input into the events scheduled at our annual county fair. The Fair would like to have representation from every High School in Broward. Each school is allowed up to three Board Members. The Teen Advisory Board meets several times during the year and helps to plan "Teen Night" activities, special promotions and publicity campaigns for the Fair. Teen Board members are also eligible for community volunteer service hours for their involvement with the board. For more information, please call the Fair Office of e-mail BCFmarissa@aol.com.
The Fair needs you!

The 2006 Broward County Fair Education Partners
These are the schools, both public and private, who partnered with the Fair to display the work of "Our Children." Entering fair exhibits fosters self-esteem, provides, in many instances, a different avenue for FCAT studies and continues the tradition of Fairs as a place for safe social interaction and family fun.
The Board of Directors, Members and Friends of the Broward County Fair congratulates all the teachers who saw fit to take the time to participate in this worthy community activity and to offer their students this unqiue experience. They, further, congratulate all the winners. Keep up the good work!

The 2006 Partners
Each year the Broward County Fair is fortunate to have the support of many public and private corporate, media and sister not-for profit partners. In 2006, the list was extensive.
Last month, the School Board, our largest public corporation was highlighted and a list of schools participating in the fair was noted. This month, corporate and media partner lists follow. By perusing the corporate and media names, everyone can see the overwhelming support the Fair has and what an integral part of the community it is.
