Your friends, family, organizations, business associates… Everyone and anyone are needed to assist with the 2012 production. High school seniors can use this opportunity to fulfill service hours. Volunteer your time in 4-hour blocks and receive great benefits.

Exceptional Students Day
|
The Broward County Fair is proud to sponsor a special day for physically and mentally challenged students. Students are invited to the fairgrounds in pre-opening hours on Friday, November 16 from 10am until 1pm. This outstanding program, which has been coordinated for more than 26 years by retired high school administrator Dr. Ken Sargeant, is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the educational components of the Fair in an environment restricted to pre-registered school groups. Participation is limited to area educable, trainable, physically and emotionally challenged individuals.

| School Field Trip to the Fair |

The Broward County Fair is excited to announce a special day for school field trips. Students are invited to the fairgrounds in pre-opening hours on Friday, November 16 from 11am until 2pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the educational components of the Fair in an environment restricted to pre-registered school groups. Participation is limited so apply early.

Teen Advisory Board
This special group was established to afford local teens some input into the events scheduled at our annual county fair. Board member are invited to attend sponsored meetings, and act as liaisons between the fair and their respective schools to promote and relay important information about fair happenings.
The Fair is re-organizing the Teen Advisory Board for the 2012 Fair. Next year, the Fair would like to have representation from every high school in Broward. Each school is allowed two board members. The Teen Advisory Board meets several times during the year and helps plan "Teen Night" activities, special promotions and publicity campaigns for the Fair. Teen Board members are also eligible to earn community volunteer service hours for their involvement with the board.
