The All New Broward County Fair will feature midway rides, The World Famous Wallendas thrill show, Kazoobie Kazoo Show with Rick Hubbard, concerts and entertainment on two stages, daily contests, a sports bar tent, and student, agriculture and animal exhibits Nov. 24 - Dec. 5 at the City Center site at 10300 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines.
Hours are 5 pm-midnight Nov. 24-25; noon-midnight Nov. 26-27; noon-11 pm Nov. 28; 5-11 pm Nov. 29 - Dec. 2; 3 pm-midnight Dec. 3; noon-midnight Dec. 4; and noon-11 pm Dec. 5.

The Rides! The Broward County Fair's magical midway will feature 50 mechanical rides, including a delightful Kiddieland and several spectacular state-of-the-art thrill rides that are making a rare appearance in Broward County. (See www.browardfair.org/rides.asp)
The World Famous Wallendas! America's most fearless family will be thrilling audiences at the Broward County Fair with several high-wire/swaypole/aerial lyre shows daily, including a special high-wire performance by Carla Wallenda at 2 pm Fri., Nov. 26. The oldest high-wire/swaypole performer at an amazing 74 years of age, Carla started her aerial career in 1941 when she was just 5.
Free Concerts & Other Special Events! Fair Food! Enjoy all the traditional fair fare as well as more unusual offerings such as Deep-Fried Oreos. Originator Rene Piche, a colorful character who in January will celebrate his 50th anniversary traveling all over the country to various fairs and festivals, will once again be a vendor at the Broward County Fair, serving up his own special version of fried dough, funnel cakes, funnel cake sundaes and those sinfully delicious Deep-Fried Oreos.
South Florida's Agricultural Roots! An important part of the mission of the Broward County Fair, a 501(c)3 organization chartered by the Florida Department of Agriculture in 1976, is to showcase local agriculture. Meet Strawberry the Pig (a 500-lb. porker), cows, rabbits, cavies (guinea pigs) and chickens; cheer on your favorite contestant in our daily Cavy Races; and view beautiful horticulture displays created by South Florida students.
Special agriculture events include Everglades Sugar Cane Growers' grinding machine demonstrations (1 pm Nov. 27 & Dec. 4); Beef Cattle Show (noon Nov. 28); local beekeeper John Getzel with live bees and fresh honey (noon Dec. 4); Market Lamb Show (1 pm Dec. 4); and Market Steer Futurity Show (1 pm Dec. 5).
