Pembroke Pines – The Broward County Fair in Pembroke Pines, November 17 - 27, will feature two new carnival companies with all new amusement rides in 2011. Wade Shows, a staple at many of the largest state fairs in the nation, and Dreamland Amusements, will be bringing a large assortment of unique rides and attractions to the event.

“The Broward County Fair will have rides not found anywhere except the largest state fairs”, said Frank Zaitshik, owner of Wade Shows. “We will be bringing our Fighter ride, the only portable ride of its kind in the country along with many other spectacular rides”, he added.

In addition to all the spectacular rides, including the 100+ foot tall Giant Wheel, a giant portable roller coaster and the Fighter, there will also be plenty of rides for the kids, many parents and children can ride with each other. “Attractions where parents and children can ride together are very important for our show”, said Bob DeStefano of Dreamland Amusements. “We have a great selection of these types of attractions and they produce a tremendous family atmosphere that is in keeping with the tradition of the Broward County Fair”, DeStefano continued.

Another big difference that will be found on the midway this year are all the new customer amenities for fair guests. Visitors to the fair will notice beautiful canvas tops on rides and concessions, uniformed, neatly attired employees, rest areas for guests who need a break from the festivities, special photo opportunity areas and many other innovations.

Zaitshik said these amenities are very important for customer satisfaction and comfort. “Wade Shows has been the industry leader in bringing these amenities to the midway. Our carnival is as close to an amusement park as you can get. With our signs, flags, banners and the look and feel of the midway, you won’t have a better experience at any fair”, he said.

Zaitshik and DeStefano said the unique situation of combining the two carnivals will produce a midway that has a wider selection of rides and a midway presentation that is second to none. Both companies on their own are industry leaders but the combined product will be something even more spectacular.
